GOOGLE GETTING WORSE?!?

I just did a message board search for several different topics. Instead of
google taking me to message boards about the topics it directed me to sites
that said "looking for investment message boards"? or "shop here for
investment message boards, lowest prices around."
Now obviously I am not looking to buy message boards. I want to read them.
Google is becoming an ineffective wasteland. Are they testing their results?
It is almost as though everything has flipped and the crap is getting the
best rankings.

It's been like this for a year now. Mall type sites have the most
inbound links as a rule.
