Doesn't mean that someone won't try to patent something at the end of
the day:

Cute in retrospect when you read the two parties involved -- both I
think were later acquired by Yahoo. The case I don't think went
anywhere though.

BT have partnered with Yahoo for broadband services in the UK, and i think a
similar thing with prodigy.
i dont think yahoo could afford BT tho!
